KCW: day 2

Yesterday I sewed a quick shirt

The fabric had been laying in my fabric

closet for more than a year, so it was time to use it.

Today no sewing done so far

Maybe some fabric cutting

tonight or some pattern tracing

So what have you been doing so far???

KCW: day 1

Today is the first day of Kids Clothes Week.

I always love to partake so I will give it a try.

But weekdays are usually busy with work, taking care of the kids

and the house so I am not sure what will come of it.

Some weeks ago I made a dress for my youngest girl. 

I made my own dress pattern using an raglan shirt pattern and a skirt pattern

but the body part was way too long.
So yesterday evening I undid all the serger stitches, cut it 10 cm

shorter and put it back together again. Now it is perfect!
